To simplify the process, we have created REFINE…our comprehensive infection prevention program designed to educate and assist facility/property managers in their re-entry planning and delivery.

Our REFINE program brings a heightened focus on cleaning and disinfection, while maintaining compliance with the latest CDC regulations, standard operating procedures and best practices. As an active response to the COVID-19 public health crisis, we developed REFINE…a program which enhances our current standards and methods to ensure your facility is not only visibly clean but also aseptic for all end users. 1. REFINE Practices and Standards
Standard Operating Procedures
Our SOPs for disinfection have been reviewed and revised in alignment with CDC Infection Control guidance and recommendations.
EPA Registered Disinfectants
We are using the most active hygiene and safety products to regular cleaning routines for virus prevention. Our cleaning solutions utilized prior to this pandemic did not have claims to kill COVID-19. As a result, to effectively disinfect facilities and reduce the spread of COVID-19, we have replaced our multi-purpose cleaners and general disinfectants with approved EPA-registered disinfectants for use against SARS-CoV-2.

Cross Contamination Prevention System
To prevent cross-contamination, we have implemented an upgraded color-coded microfiber system that includes a specific color for high touch surfaces.
Investment in Innovative Technology
We are continuously researching and investing in new technology.
Electrostatic Sprayers
These machines can deliver better disinfectant coverage and application to surfaces. An electrostatically charged mist is sprayed onto surrounding surfaces and objects, applying disinfectants, sanitizers and mold preventatives for a 360-degree complete clean. These sprayers improve productivity and effectiveness in the disinfection process.
Robotic Cleaning Machines
Effective cleaning must be done before effective disinfecting. Intelligent cleaning robots can execute routine tasks so cleaning teams can perform higher level infection prevention duties. Robotic cleaning machines can help to maximize efficiency and minimize the risk of spreading COVID-19.
3rd Party ATP Assessment – optional
Through our partnership with WHITMAN, BRAVO! can offer post-cleaning/disinfecting sampling and verification testing.
2. REFINE Site Risk Assessment and Scope of Work Review
BRAVO! can provide assistance and recommendations to clients who want to assess the occupational risk to COVID-19 in each facility/building which may require an updated and enhanced scope of work needed for initial re-entry. A periodic assessment of risk levels following OSHA’s and CDC guidance after operations resume may be conducted to keep employees safe on a continuous basis. Modifications to SOW may include multi-level approach to preventative cleanings and disinfections.
COVID-19 RISK ASSESSMENT
OSHA classifies occupational risk to COVID-19 infections as:
- Lower Exposure Risk – activities that do not require contact between people known to be, or suspected of being, infected with COVID-19 nor frequent close contact with (within 6 feet of) the general public.
- Medium Exposure Risk – activities that require frequent and/or close contact with (within 6 feet of) people who may be infected with COVID-19, but who are not known or suspected to be infected with COVID-19.
- High Exposure Risk - activities with high potential for exposure to known or suspected sources of COVID-19.
- Very High Exposure Risk – activities with high potential for exposure to known or suspected sources of COVID-19 during specific medical, postmortem, or laboratory procedures.
3. REFINE Multilevel Disinfection Services
In addition to enhancing our disinfection products and procedures, REFINE offers the following multilevel disinfection services to support the launch of your reopening as well as provide a sustainable, healthy and safe environment on an ongoing basis.
Facility Reopening Services
This service ensures a smooth transition prior to the reopening of your facility by disinfecting all workspaces so that your employees can return to a clean and healthy work environment.
Level 2 Disinfection:
Daily and Frequent Disinfection of High Touch Surfaces
This service increases visibility of your infection control efforts and builds trust in your operations.
Level 3 Disinfection:
Emergency Response for Suspected or Confirmed Cases of COVID-19
This service provides a rapid and systematic disinfection process when a facility has been exposed to COVID-19.
4. REFINE Training and Certification
Ensuring the health and safety of our teammates who perform disinfection services on the front line is our number one priority. We provide comprehensive training of our staff in the following:
- Proper donning and doffing of PPE
- Correct procedures for disinfection, including best practices for surface cleaning and infection control
- Hazard Communication Program which includes proper use of EPA-approved disinfectants, adherence to dwell times, safe handling and required PPE
- Strict compliance for the removal of waste and used PPE
We have dedicated our efforts to train the frontline staff on our cleaning and prevention plans to ensure their safety through safety toolboxes, virtual meetings and other modes of communication during this pandemic.
In addition, our trainers and response team have completed the recently created Global Biorisk Advisory Council's Forensic Restoration Program. This program certifies our staff in prevention, response, infection and contamination control measures to known or potential infectious disease outbreak situations.
5. REFINE Inventory Management
Our long-term partnerships with our suppliers ensure reliable fulfillment of orders and delivery of products.
- By strictly controlling inventory and maintaining ample stock, BRAVO! stands ready and prepared for any recurrence of future outbreaks.
- Cleaning Supplies and Hand Sanitizers
BRAVO! has procured adequate quantities of EPA-registered disinfectants. These products are available for purchase if clients wish to supply employees with disinfectants to properly sanitize their work areas, as needed.
In addition, BRAVO has hand sanitizers in stock for purchase on a first come, first served basis and until supplies last. - Protective Mask Restocking Program
An innovative BRAVO! Program designed to ensure inventory and price stabilization. Clients may purchase masks in bulk with a minimum 6-month commitment. Masks will be delivered on a monthly basis.
6. REFINE Protocols at Client Sites
BRAVO will adhere to our clients’ site-specific reentry protocols and infection prevention procedures. At a minimum, we expect all our employees to:
- Follow reentry protocols which may include temperature screening.
- Wear face masks as mandated by state and federal governments.
- Wear gloves for all cleaning functions.
- Follow our REFINE cleaning standards and disinfection methods when applicable.
- Properly use and apply EPA-registered disinfectants for use against SARS-CoV-2.
- Adhere to social distancing requirements when clocking in/out, while taking their breaks and while completing their job functions throughout the day.
- Practice hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette at all times.
- Stay home when they are sick.
- Report symptoms or exposure immediately.
BRAVO! will remain in compliance with all required protocols until further notice or upon changes in regulations from the CDC and/or the government.
Use of Cutting Edge Technology
By implementing new cutting edge technologies, BRAVO! Group Services can further extend our commitment to reducing the chance of contact with contaminants. We can implement building automation solutions using Zan Compute technologies. Using these solutions we can collect and analyze data from sensors on high contact points in restrooms such as trash receptacles, paper towel dispensers, water lines, and the amount of traffic. This data allows us to make intelligent recommendations and insights on the best janitorial solutions, and event alert us of critical situations.
We can also reduce the number of people that need to enter your building with the use of robotics. BRAVO! will use robotic vacuums and other floor cleaners to clean your floors, eliminating the need for unnecessary staff. Like the Zan Compute system, data gets collected and analyzed to help make better cleaning decisions. Overall this provides a safer and more efficient way of cleaning your facility.
