Bessy Funez, Supervisor at Kaiser Tysons ASC in VA has been awarded the Rising Star – Employee of the Month Award for the month of January 2016 in recognition for her outstanding work and leadership!
Her manager Anthony Long expressed “Bessy’s keen eye and drive for perfection has proven valuable when she has found safety issues that were missed by others. She is responsible for inspecting Pre-Op, PACU, and OPS areas for the first person is checked in for surgery. Bessie has received several awards from Kaiser recognizing her and her abilities to run a flawless TEAM in the ASC. She is one of the main reasons Tysons ASC has passed all inspections with high marks. Bessy is a great role model and expect all to follow her lead”
